LNHS School Supplies Donation

Lumbia, Cagayan De Oro City – The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier closed Basic Education and Literacy Month with a gift-giving project on Thursday, 26 September 2019. The project was a donation of school supplies for the benefit of the Special Education Program of Lumbia National High School. The program was launched early in January to address the growing population of learners requiring special attention in the area. The club first met up with the class’s SPED coordinators, Mrs. Warlina C. Maca and Mrs. Marie Pasoquin Dabatian, in July. There, they arranged for the turn-over of the educational supply kits. September 30, 2019, Cagayan de Oro City. – The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier held its very first Family of Rotary Day last Saturday, 21 September 2019 in Mountain Meadows, Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City. The day was meant to introduce members of our Rotary family to one another and to have everyone partake in fellowship and teambuilding activities. All-out Fiesta Blow-out 2019

Cagayan de Oro City – On September 5, 2019, our club conducted its 2nd fundraising activity for the Rotary Year - the Raffle Draw of the All-Out Fiesta Blowout 2019 - at Du’s Residence, Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City. It was attended by the members of the club and family and friends of the members. For this year’s raffle, the club gave away 16 consolation prizes and 5 major prizes. The draw was facilitated by IPP Tring Del Rosario Sarraga. Different individuals were invited to draw the winners for the different prizes. Mesa at Upuan para sa Kinabukasan

To touch the future, touch the heart of a child. In line with our organization’s cause to support education, the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier sponsored a project to donate 10 tables, 12 monobloc chairs, and 23 wooden chairs made specially for the SPED students of East City Central School in Barangay Lapasan. This project was headed by Sec. Krisha June Burgos last August 30, 2019 at the school’s covered courts.
