CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – August 8, 2025 – The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier marked a historic milestone during its 11th Induction and Turn-over Ceremonies, held at The Pavilion at Uptown CDO, Mastersons Avenue. For the first time in the club’s history—and likely in Rotary District 3870—three presidents were inducted to lead the club for Rotary Year 2025–2026: Emma Chris Louise Along, Monique Cajardo, and Alisa Trena Olano.

With the whimsical theme "Time for Tea and Good Company," guests were transported into a tea party-inspired wonderland reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland. The venue was adorned with elegant floral arrangements, vintage tea sets, and charming touches that evoked a sense of magic and camaraderie.
Despite a few setbacks, including a malfunctioning LED wall, the program proceeded smoothly, showcasing the club’s resilience and commitment to excellence. The celebration was filled with fellowship, laughter, and shared purpose as members and guests embraced the spirit of Rotary.

The evening’s highlight was the formal induction of the three presidents—an unprecedented leadership structure that reflects the club’s collaborative spirit and adaptability. Together, Presidents Along, Cajardo, and Olano vowed to uphold Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self” and to continue the club’s tradition of impactful community service.

The night also welcomed four new members into the fold: Rosario Castaño, Dr. Haidee Libre, Melissa Francesca Baculio, and Charlyn Macaraeg-Benitez. Their induction reflects the club’s continued growth and commitment to bringing fresh perspectives and talents into its ranks.

Past and current district leaders, fellow Rotarians from across the city, family, and friends attended the event, making it a memorable gathering of service-minded individuals. The unique triple-presidency is expected to bring diverse perspectives, shared responsibilities, and innovative projects to the club’s operations in the year ahead.
The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier, founded in 2014, continues to be one of the most dynamic clubs in the district, known for its vibrant membership, creative events, and dedication to community development. This year’s induction proved once again that when Rotarians come together—whether over challenges or tea—their impact knows no bounds.#
